What is a "modern" hookah?
Modern hookahs are almost always going to be made using CNC machined stainless steel or aluminum, except for glass hookahs that are hand-made by expert glassblowers. Modern hookahs feature precise designs with some combination of threaded adapters, twist to lock base designs, anodized coatings, and unique stem materials (such as resin, silicone, acrylic, or wood).
